The Cost of the Platform Being Your Own

There are some great SaaS products being introduced for low rates, however the cost of the customer being able to brand and control their own platform, known as White Label, still remains too high to allow small businesses a fighting chance.

Poor Design

Corporate and uninspired layouts with complex logical processes have become very normal across many SaaS solutions sold to businesses, why does it have to be this way?

More than half of all employees are unhappy at work because of the software they are using, and a quarter of employees said the software they're using made them consider leaving their job - G2.

A Lack of Good Features for the Customer's Customer

Many products focus on providing a solution for a business but seem to neglect providing the important complimentary set of features for the businesses customer.

81% of consumers want more self-service options. Consequently, only 15% of consumers are satisfied with the self-service tools provided, whereas businesses believe 53% of consumers are satisfied with their self-service tools - NICE.

The Need for so Many Tools to Complete One Workflow

With software becoming more accessible, we have seen a boom in niche SaaS solutions, but they are limited to only being able to complete one set of tasks meaning that businesses are having to foot high costs to complete their workflows.

In 2023, the average number of SaaS apps a Small to Medium business uses reached 253 - Technopedia.

What we've been up to

We've been busy assembling our team of staff and value added members, researching and choosing the most effective coding languages and design systems and creating a scaffold to manage the ambitious future of the Nectrus product.

I’ve found when assessing new ventures, you should be confident you can add to the general momentum of the market you’re joining, be able to financially scale those additions and ensure you have the ability to build a team in the company’s infancy.

Nectrus ticked all the boxes, we could invent affordable business platforms with a sense of adventure that lives on the social side, create multi-tiered products that complement each other, expanding them geographically with efficiency; and I could see who the initial team should be, clearly. So, the journey began.

In May 22 we signed on the dotted line for the nShare software development business to become part of the Nectrus journey. We saw the potential of the Nectrus team and their structure, and we knew our expertise in the business and workforce management software arena had a great synergy. Upon completing our due diligence, we agreed that it would be a great investment to build the ArC MVP for a shareholding and got to work.  

Personally, as I work closely with both the public and private sectors, Rauf asked me to become part of the Core Team.
